Pandemic
Public health with a power chord.
It was a weird time, and we were all trying to stay sane. One day, someone said, “You know, ‘pandemic’ sounds like a heavy metal band.” Turns out, it is — from Poland. That was all the creative permission we needed.
We created a tongue-in-cheek public health campaign that looked and sounded like a metal tour. Posters, shirts, and a full-blown music video pushed out pandemic safety tips like Wash Your Hands and Six Feet Apart — all in a style that made CDC guidelines feel a lot less... CDC. It was weird. It was loud. It made us smile when smiles were hard to come by.
Sending the Virus to Hell
Metalheads don’t run from problems — they crank the volume and charge straight in. Send the Virus to Hell is a headbanging parody of Enter Sandman, reimagined as a call to action for pandemic safety. It turned handwashing into an act of defiance — and public health into pure metal.
Next, we created concert-style posters and, of course, t-shirts.
World Tour Ready
We submitted the campaign to the UN’s global call for COVID-19 creative. It was ready to rock the world. Surprisingly, we never heard back. But we’re not mad. Metallica might be, a little.
